In this creation Electronic Dub faces the chants and rhythms of the desert.
Several artist residences in France and Algeria - organized by the Nuits Métis - have allowed the artists to develop a rich, coherent and original repertory. ElectroDunes' risky gamble of combining electronic music and the sacred musics of the desert has succeeded.
Composer and Guitarist, foundation member of the band Jamasoud. After more than 250 concerts Barbes.D left Jamasoud in 2004 to go his own ways.
Influenced by the jamaicains Prince Jammy, Scientist & Lee "Scratch" Perry, he creates a hot sound upon a melodic bass.
In numerous journeys and meetings with other artists Barbes.D has developed his own UK-Style-like Electronic Dub that enchants the listener with its smooth vibes. In the past he has been working with Toko Blaze, Alpha Wess (Guinée), El Maya (Algérie), Ras Rudy Gad (Jah Observer Sound System).
