International volunteer building site Béni Abbès

During the restauration of a traditional house and its transformation into an artists residence teens from Marseille and Béni Abbès will have occasion to work together.
During the time of the first three editions of the festival in Béni Abbès some parts of the building have already been restored, the remaining work will be carry out during the futur editions of the festival.

The project taking place during the time of the festival allows the young french to take part in the festival's experience of exchange and to approach to the youth of Béni Abbès.
As the house will become the legal seat of the Hillal La Saoura association and an artists residence the project will furthermore be an important link between North and South. It will play an important role in the organization of La Saoura festival, become a base for the artists of Béni Abbès and offer a place for various exchanges.
